The Metro Center for Women and Families provides emergency shelter, medical assistance, and legal help for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. They can be reached 24 hours a day at 504-837-5400.

Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission serves homeless men, women, and families with children 365 days a year with food, shelter, and clothing. 

Providence House Homeless Family Shelter provides short-term transitional housing in combination with an individualized support program including: education programs, child care, parenting, money management, and life skills development.
